Symposium on Surgery of the Spastic Upper Limb - Spastic Hand 3

Kdy: 16.-17.4.2021

Kde: Amsterdam

Info: Dear colleagues, We are proud to welcome you in the beautiful city of Amsterdam for the third International Meeting dedicated to Surgery of the Spastic Upper Limb. Besides an interesting program on surgical interventions we will also dedicate specific sessions about nerve transfers and the possible applications in the treatment of the spastic upper limb as well as a session about the pre- and post-operative rehabilitation.

This year there will also be a pre-course workshop with cadaver dissections. This will take place in our new skills lab with the possibility to perform operations on fresh frozen cadaver arms under the supervision of our experts. For the rehabilitation physician and therapists we will offer the opportunity to participate in the workshop as observers. The venue for the symposium will be the magnificent KIT, the Royal Tropical Institute in the center of Amsterdam. This will be the perfect opportunity to meet and great colleagues from all over the world who are experts in the treatment of this special group of patients.

OF course we realize that we are dealing with a changing reality in the world. The FESSH and the ASSH have been cancelled recently because of the Covid restrictions. We do hope that we will be allowed to travel and meet again in the spring of 2021. If this is not the case and restrictions are still in place we will provide an equally interesting Virtual meeting with video broadcasting of operative procedures.

So please Save the Date!

And we hope to see you all in Amsterdam in April 2021
